02 - 3.5 oz grated mozzarella cheese
03 - 2 tbsp sour cream
04 - 1/4 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/4 tsp onion powder
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Decoration
07 - 12 small mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
08 - 36 thin black olive slices
09 - 12 small carrot tips
10 - 24 pretzel sticks
11 - Fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped (optional)
12 - Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
# Steps:
01 - In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, grated mozzarella, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and uniform.
02 - Form 12 large, slightly flattened cheese balls, roughly 2 tablespoons each, using your hands. Arrange them on a serving platter allowing edges to drip slightly to mimic a melted effect.
03 - Place one small mozzarella ball atop each cheese base, gently pressing to adhere.
04 - Use black olive slices for body buttons and eyes, attach a small carrot tip for the nose, insert two pretzel sticks into each side of the base for arms, and optionally wrap chopped chives or parsley around the neck as a scarf.
05 - Present immediately accompanied by crackers or sliced baguette.
