Refreshing Mango Iced Tea (Printable Version)

A chilled blend of ripe mango and black tea with honey, perfect for hot days.

# What You Need:

→ Tea

01 - 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea
02 - 2 cups boiling water

→ Mango Puree

03 - 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced, or 1 cup frozen mango cubes
04 - 2 cups water

→ Sweetener and Serving

05 - 2 tablespoons honey or to taste
06 - Ice cubes as needed
07 - Fresh mango slices for garnish, optional

# Steps:

01 - Place tea bags in a large pitcher and pour 2 cups of boiling water over them. Steep for 10 minutes, then remove and discard the tea bags.
02 - In a saucepan, combine diced mango and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango with a spoon or masher to create a puree.
03 - Pour the mango mixture through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher with the brewed tea, pressing gently to extract all liquid.
04 - Stir in honey until completely dissolved throughout the tea mixture.
05 - Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, approximately 20-30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour or until cold.
06 - Pour the chilled mango iced tea over ice cubes in glasses and garnish with fresh mango slices if desired.
